Privacy Policy

• Account info — your email address and display name, handled through our authentication provider, Clerk. We never see or store your password; Clerk manages that directly.
• Birth details — the name, birth date, birth time, and birth location (including coordinates) you enter to generate a chart. This is the core data the app needs to function, and it's inherently personal — we treat it accordingly.
• Saved charts and readings — the natal charts you create and the interpretive text generated for them, stored so you don't have to re-enter your birth details every visit.
• Payment information — if you purchase a full report or app unlock, payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number — only a payment confirmation and, for report purchases, the email you ask us to send it to.

Journal entries in the "Sovereign Mind" feature are stored only in your browser (localStorage) and are never sent to our servers at all.

• We don't send your birth data or chart information to any third-party AI service. Every reading in this app is generated by our own deterministic astrology engine, running entirely on our infrastructure — your personal details never leave our systems to reach an outside AI provider.
• We don't sell your data to anyone, for any reason.
• We don't run advertising or ad-tracking of any kind.

We use a small number of service providers to run the app, each with access limited to what they need to do their specific job:

• Clerk — authentication (sign-in/sign-up, session management).
• Supabase — our database, storing your profile, saved charts, and generated reports.
• Stripe — payment processing for report purchases and app unlocks.
• Resend — delivering your full report by email, when you request one.

The "Famous Charts" and synastry-with-public-figures features read from a separate, self-contained historical reference database — using them doesn't send any of your personal data anywhere.

Saved charts and account data remain until you delete them or delete your account. Deleting a chart removes it immediately. To request full account deletion, contact us at the email below.

• You can delete any saved chart at any time from the Charts page.
• You can request a copy of your data, or full deletion of your account and all associated data, by emailing us.
• You can use the app without a saved journal by simply not using the Sovereign Mind feature — nothing is stored there unless you write something.

Alif Astrology is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.

If our data practices change in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
